Here is a picture of the most pressing issue with the boat. As you can see the transom is shot.

The first step in the repair was to remove the engine. I removed the engine and the steering linkage.
For ease of removal and reinstallation, I left all the wiring and controls connected. The engine is strapped
to the boat to keep it from falling down.

I also removed the gas tank, rear seats, bilge pump, etc. to give me as much room to work as possible.
I still need to remove the battery.

I also removed all the trim pieces from the transom. In this pic, the tow hooks are still attached but have
since been removed.
